This is a very old rocking chair upholstered in leather which is dry from it's very old age, it's sturdy masculine build is very stout made of thick lumber, it's an item that would do well as a show piece in any museum, historic home or estate, the construction is all leather and what appears to be wooden head tacks over leather strips, I've owned this rocker for 50 years and it was an antique when I bought it, it can comfort your hubby it was likely built for a man in size and style, I've enjoyed the joy of it's appeal for a very long time, if I don't sell it I won't be upset you know what I mean, it's just that amazing to just look at, to actually use it you might want to restore it and have the leather reupholstered, a fun item to restore with great rewards when finished, it's a real gem to behold just as it is, I promise, if you have a taste for classic old vintage rockers this might be your dreamboat rocker, thanks for lookin, HAPPY TRAILS :)
