The SHA provides heat in a range from 15,000 to 25,000 BTU/hour. It is designed to be used in small to medium sized shelters in moderate to arctic conditions. The SHA operates with various types of liquid or solid fuels.
Rate of liquid fuel consumption at maximum firing: 1/3 gallon / hour (15 gallons on 5 gallon can)
Here is how this thing works.
This is about the size of a pc tower.
Bottom half is a gravity fed liquid fuel burner.
There is a plate that can cover the liquid fuel burner and that converts the unit to a wood / coal stove that burns in the top half of the unit.
Everything fits inside the unit when transporting. There is
1. SHA heater body assembly
2. Nested stack assembly. A six section pipe stack. Each section is a little smaller than the next and they nest together and fit inside stove.
3. Fuel flow control valve
4. Fuel supply hose
5. Fuel overflow hose
6. Gravity feed adaptor for 5 gal fuel can
7. Solid fuel grate
8. Stack cap and guy lines
9. Cleaning tool
Unit does not come with a fuel can or tripod to elevate the fuel can.
