📌 Located on the Adams/Cumberland Co border - 20 min south of Carlisle 17015
We run a tiny family dairy of just 3–4 cows in milk at a time.
Pasture kept 24/7/365. Free to roam. Never penned up off pasture. They live on pasture year-round, but have shelter available whenever they want it and are milked once a day so they aren’t pushed for production.
Every cow has a name, is handled daily and many have been shown by our children in youth dairy shows. They are completely gentle, spoiled and used to people.
Full-fat milk: we never skim, so you get all the natural richness.
Cream and butter available upon request.
Milk is collected with a small-scale milking system and chilled immediately in our tank to preserve freshness and quality.
Fed:
Mostly forage-fed with only a small amount of grain given once a day at milking
Hay grown and baled on our own fields
Free-choice minerals
Our approach is low-input and pasture-based: So our cows get most of their nutrition from forage and pasture, are milked once daily, and cared for individually.
This focus on cow health and longevity over maximum milk production, means healthier, happier cows and better milk.
