This Loree oboe was my grandfather's. It was made in Paris sometime during the 1940-50s. He lovingly played and maintained it until he had a stroke and no longer could. It is a beautiful instrument with a rich, mellow sound. It has new pads and springs. It deserves a new life with someonenwho appreciates it as the rare and lovely instrument it is.
