So this is the top of the line guitar that Ovation makes. It cost 2600 new and this is a steal at this price. I have a friend that I am selling it for and it is in mint condition and almost unplayed.The Ovation C2078 LX Custom Elite represents the top-of-the-line for USA made Ovations. The finest AAA spruce top, inlaid epaulettes, top grade ebony fingerboard, deep contour bowl, and more than 300 individual hand placed pieces of abalone line the binding. This has the OP-Pro Studio preamp, my personal favorite Ovation preamp with exciter and compressor/limiter circuitry. This guitar cost 2600 dollars new years ago and was kept in amazing condition.Save some money. Comes with original hardshell Ovation case in great condition.
Balanced tone of warmth and articulation with a sitka spruce top and signature Lyrachord body. The OCP1 pickup and OP Pro Studio preamp provide exceptional sound quality, while the exotic wood epaulettes and multi-port sound hole design add both visual and acoustic appeal.
