Low Voltage/Structured Cabling (Greencastle, PA)

We are a Telecom/ Low Voltage Service Company. We provide physical layer support and installations for National Chain Companies. We are based out of Bethlehem, PA and over 30 years in the National industry supporting government and commercial projects. We work with a number of National vendors in all types of industries. We have immediate openings. We cover all of NJ, eastern and central PA

We have been awarded a Year long project in Greencastle PA, Starts in 4 weeks.

Hours are 7am to 5pm Monday through Sat

Every other week you will work 7am to 5pm Monday through Thursday

Hardware Installation
Definition: The act or process of making a device ready for use. This includes physical placement of a turnkey solution or component parts. Examples of hardware installations include but are not limited to:
physical placement of a server, point of sale (“POS”) logic, brackets and componentry upgrades such as memory, hard disk drive. Hardware installation does not include services such as maintenance, uninstall,
or the purchase of the device.

 56 – provided IDF’s - All cables will be dressed in a professional
manner and cleaning dirt and debris from IDF. Furnishing and placing a label on the outside of the cabinet designating what letter or number it is
 All patch panels, power strips, fiber trays, fiber jumpers and patch cables for 56- TC’s and GS’s.
 Provided wall mount TC cabinets (2) in pedestrian bridge (entrance)
 30 - TC Bollards (this will include two posts with one guard rail)
 1 – Switch enclosures for each Guard shack (2 – guard shacks total)
 Core drilling from 1 st -3 rd floor to connect 3 rd level TC cabinets. This will be
coordinated w/ the GC, Telaid will be responsible
 4” conduit stub ups for each TC, 2-per TC
 1” conduit stub ups for each TC, 2-per TC
 1 – EPS for each Guard Shack (2 – guard shacks total)
 Un-box and install up to 165-Walmart provided network switches
 261 – Internal APs (estimate based on IND3 map - PHL5 map not currently available)
 55 – External APs (estimate based on IND3 map - PHL5 map not currently available)
 70 – Dock Door AP (estimate)
o All Roof mounted AP’s will be installed on tripods
o All Roof penetrations will be coordinated with the GC
o outdoor building/pole mounted AP’s will be properly sleeved through the
exterior wall with PVC and properly sealed to prevent any outside
elements from entering the buildings

 Provide and install 25 – Step Down Transformers for light poles
 25-CCTV light pole fiber install 1-6 strand SM outdoor rated fiber per CCTV
 1 – 6 strand single mode fiber to the fuel station (est-2000 feet) terminated in a 12x12 nema enclosure for pumps
 Provide 2-Ekahau survey at the completion of the project. One upon completion and 1 after Shipping Go Live

Cable and Electrical Installation
Definition: The act or process to move, add, remove cable and electrical supply. Examples are new cable drops or electrical supply from switch to device location.

 Dmarc Primary fiber from server room A.
 Dmarc Secondary fiber to Server room – B
 4 - Fiber runs between server rooms (24 strand single mode) 2-underground, 2-in red iron
 2-Fiber runs for 100/50MG Circuit from DMARC to systems rack
 Run primary and secondary 24-strand single mode fiber to each IDF location
 25 – light pole fiber runs. 6-strand single mode fiber to each light pole location requiring CCTV.
 3000 – Cat6 data drops
 Up to 440 – Vertical conduit for data drops
 Copper and fiber cabling and racking of all servers, switches, routers in the
systems room
 All Telaid installed cabling will be terminated, labeled and tested
 All Patch cables in the IDF’s will conform to Walmart’s color code standards.
 IDF & AP Port maps will be provided at the completion of the project.
