This posting is for a mid-2011 Apple iMac which is not currently functional, presumably due to a failed graphics card. Multiple attempts were made to get the computer to power-cycle properly, but once the “chime” sounded, it did not make it through to displaying the desktop. I was told that, because the graphics card in these older iMacs is connected to the Logic board in a way that makes one or the other difficult to replace, and that since this computer and it's parts are obsolete, I might as well just replace the computer with a more current model. The two solid state drives which were in the machine to begin with have also been removed. I don't know whether the Logic board may be faulty as well, but I was lead to believe that was a possibility also. In short, all I can guarantee here is the chassis of a 2011 iMac minus any storage drives or a fully functional graphics card and Logic board.

The technicians have affixed the screen back on to the chassis with clear tape, and I hesitated to separate the two for the purpose of taking additional photos. But it was certainly a high-performance machine until recently - 32 GB RAM Quad-Core processing, running Mac OS 10.13.6 High Sierra. It does have a dent in the upper left-hand corner of the frame, which is how I purchased it from the previous owner. If someone decides to purchase this for any salvageable parts, I will guarantee it stays carefully protected. I can even provide the box this computer was shipped in, if the buyer intends to repair/refurbish and ship the unit elsewhere. The power cord and a small bag of screws taken from the inside components will be included as shown. I was not planning on including a wireless mouse or keyboard, but would be willing to do so as an incentive for a potential sale.

Feel free to contact me anytime with questions or interest you may have. Thanks so much for looking!
